Schools in Wimberley, Texas, fall under the jurisdiction of the Wimberley Independent School District. PARKS & RECREATION Wimberley is fortunate to be within the vicinity of numerous rivers that allow families a day of water activities like tubing, swimming, canoeing, in addition to some great campsites. Just fifteen minutes to the Southeast is San Marcos where you can enjoy the San Marcos River which boasts one of the most relaxing floating experiences around. The access area for the Guadalupe River is a half hour South of Wimberley and visitors there can explore both calm and whitewater areas! |
